Big Bay State Park and Big Bay Town Park share the same 1 1/4 mile sandy beach. Both parks offer camping, swimming and a great chance to enjoy the fresh air.  Drive your car, take a bike or moped(715-747-6585) out to the parks.

Big Bay State Park.   Located 7 miles from the ferry landing.  Walk a 1 1/4 mile sandy beach, hike over 5 miles of trails, see sandstone rock formations.  A Wisconsin state park sticker is required for day use.  Additional camping fees also apply.

Big Bay Town Park.  Located 6 1/2 miles from the ferry landing.  A wooden footbridge crosses a scenic lagoon, popular for canoeing and fishing.  The park shares a 1 1/4 mile long sandy beach with Big Bay State Park.  Please note:   Campground (daily camping fee required) is first come first serve (no reservations taken).  No park fee is required for daily use.

Joni's Beach.  Located in downtown LaPointe (1/4 mile from the ferry landing).  This park offers a swimming beach, picnic area, restrooms, shelter and public boat launch.
